Acceptance and eligibility
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Daily Social's mobile applications, websites, social features, marketplace features and related services (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, creating an account, publishing content, listing a product or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
You must be at least 13 and old enough to consent to online services where you live. If you are below the age of legal majority, you must have any consent or supervision required by applicable law. If you use the Services for an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind it to these Terms.
Accounts
You must provide accurate information, keep your sign-in credentials secure and promptly report suspected unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity through your account to the extent permitted by law.
You may not sell or transfer accounts, impersonate another person or organisation, use misleading identity information, or create accounts to evade a restriction or suspension. We may require verification where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, transactions or account recovery.
The Services
The Services may include public and private profiles, time-sensitive feeds, scheduled and retained content, messaging, comments, reactions, notifications, product discovery, seller tools, inventory, orders and related features. Features may vary by platform, account, region or release.
Some content is designed to change visibility, publish, archive or leave public feeds automatically. Processing and cleanup jobs run periodically. We do not guarantee exact publication, archival or deletion times, uninterrupted availability, permanent retention or recovery of expired content.
We may add, change, limit or discontinue features when reasonably necessary, including for security, legal, operational or product reasons. Where practical, we will provide appropriate notice of material changes that significantly affect paid Services.
Your content and licence
You retain ownership of content you create. You grant Daily Social a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, process, technically adapt, transmit and display your content as needed to operate, secure, promote and improve the Services and make the content available according to your choices.
This licence ends when content is deleted from our active systems, except to the extent it remains in limited backups, must be retained for legal or safety reasons, was shared publicly or with others who independently retained it, or was used with your permission in a way that reasonably requires continued use.
You confirm that you own or have all rights and permissions needed for anything you upload, list or share, including rights relating to intellectual property, privacy, publicity and depicted people. You are responsible for your content and for ensuring it is accurate and lawful.
Feedback and suggestions may be used without restriction or compensation, but we are not required to implement them.
Acceptable use
You must not use the Services to:
- Break the law, infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights, or share content you do not have permission to use.
- Harass, threaten, exploit, deceive, impersonate, stalk or expose another person's private information.
- Publish child sexual abuse or exploitation material, non-consensual intimate material, hateful abuse, credible threats, or content that facilitates serious harm.
- Send spam, scams, malware, misleading promotions or repeatedly unwanted messages.
- Manipulate engagement, reviews, prices or transactions; submit false reports; or engage in fraud, money laundering or payment abuse.
- Interfere with security or operation, scrape or harvest data, bypass access controls or usage limits, reverse engineer protected components, or use automated accounts without written permission.
Marketplace activity
Daily Social provides a marketplace that helps buyers discover products and transact with independent sellers. Unless a listing expressly states otherwise, the seller is responsible for the product, listing accuracy, stock, pricing, legal compliance, fulfilment, warranties and after-sales obligations.
Seller responsibilities
Sellers must accurately describe products, use truthful images and claims, hold or be authorised to sell listed stock, honour confirmed prices and discounts, disclose material conditions, meet dispatch commitments, comply with tax and consumer laws, and respond reasonably to order issues.
Prohibited products
You may not list or sell illegal, stolen, counterfeit, recalled or unsafe goods; weapons or explosives; regulated substances; live animals; sexually exploitative material; products that infringe another person's rights; or anything prohibited in the buyer's or seller's jurisdiction. We may restrict additional categories for legal, safety, payment-provider or operational reasons.
We may review, hide or remove listings and suspend selling privileges where a product or seller appears to violate these Terms, applicable law or provider requirements. Review does not mean we endorse, certify or guarantee a product or seller.
Orders, pricing and payments
Product availability, final price, discounts, taxes, delivery charges and payment terms are shown or confirmed during checkout. Earlier feed or listing estimates may change before an order is placed. A binding order is created when payment is confirmed or when we otherwise confirm the order through the Services.
Payments may be processed by third-party providers. Their terms govern payment methods, authorisation, settlement and certain refunds. We may cancel, reverse or hold a transaction where required for stock issues, pricing errors, suspected fraud, legal compliance, provider requirements or safety. Any refund due will be handled according to applicable law and the original payment method where practicable.
Paid digital plans may renew automatically for the billing period shown at purchase unless cancelled through the relevant app store or payment provider. The provider determines local pricing, taxes, trials, renewal timing and payment-method rules. Cancellation ordinarily stops future renewal while access continues through the paid period, subject to provider terms.
Cancellations, returns and refunds
Where the Services offer an order cancellation control, buyers may request cancellation before dispatch, subject to order status and applicable law. After delivery, return eligibility and timing depend on the product, the disclosed return window and applicable consumer law.
Products that arrive damaged, faulty, materially different from their listing or not delivered may qualify for remedies. Change-of-mind returns may be limited for perishable, personalised, hygiene-sealed or other excluded products where law permits. Sellers may need to arrange collection or verify the returned product before a refund is initiated.
Approved monetary refunds are normally returned to the original payment method. The payment provider controls settlement timing. If a buyer and seller cannot resolve an issue, either may use the reporting or support tools for review. Nothing in these Terms limits statutory consumer rights.
Messages and interactions
Messages are visible to conversation participants and are not represented as end-to-end encrypted. Treat communications as information recipients may save or share. You are responsible for your interactions and transactions with others. Use blocking and reporting tools when appropriate, and contact local emergency services for urgent danger.
We do not guarantee another person's identity, claims, conduct, product quality or ability to complete a transaction. Exercise reasonable judgement before communicating, meeting, buying, selling or sharing personal information.
Moderation, suspension and termination
We may investigate reports and remove or restrict content, listings, transactions, features or accounts when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect people, secure the Services, address fraud or comply with law. We are not required to monitor every item or resolve every private dispute.
You may stop using the Services at any time and may request account deletion through available controls or by emailing hello@dailysocial.in. We may suspend or terminate access for material or repeated violations, legal requirements, security risk, payment abuse or discontinuation of the Services.
Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including ownership, transaction obligations, disclaimers, liability limits and dispute terms, will survive.
Third-party services
Identity providers, cloud and notification services, app stores, payment providers, delivery providers, and external links or destinations are governed by their own terms and policies. To the extent permitted by law, Daily Social is not responsible for third-party content, availability, security or independent practices.
Disclaimers, liability and disputes
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, permanent retention, the accuracy of user content, seller performance, product quality, or freedom from harmful conduct.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Daily Social will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, lost data, lost profits, loss of goodwill, or losses arising from user content, user interactions, independent sellers, products or third-party services. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability, remedies or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
You are responsible for losses and claims caused by your unlawful content, listings, products, transactions or material breach of these Terms. To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify Daily Social against third-party claims arising from those acts, except to the extent caused by our own unlawful conduct.
These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of India, without overriding mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live. Courts with lawful jurisdiction may hear disputes. Before filing a claim, you and Daily Social agree to attempt in good faith to resolve it by contacting the other party, unless urgent relief or applicable law makes that inappropriate.
Changes and contact
We may update these Terms as the Services or law changes. We will provide appropriate notice of material changes. Continued use after the effective date of revised Terms means you accept them, to the extent permitted by law.
